PERSONAL, SOCIAL AND HEALTH EDUCATIONIntent
Personal, Social and Health Education is taught across the curriculum, and is an essential part of a child's education. The aim of this SEAL, (social and emotional aspects of learning) programme is to help children in the school to acquire the knowledge, habits and attitudes which will contribute to their role as citizens in our community. This is achieved by making the children aware of
PSHE is therefore an area of the curriculum which can be shared with parents and carers, governors, families and the community. By promoting a healthy life-style, including a fruit or vegetable snack every morning it is hoped that this will assist the children in their personal and social development. |
