​Hey everyone! Another fantastic week has flown by in Year 3, and we’ve packed in loads of learning and fun. Here’s a quick recap of what we’ve been up to:

This week in English, we focused on writing persuasive leaflets. We honed our skills in using persuasive language to convince our readers to look after the park. It was exciting to see everyone’s creativity and arguments come to life on paper!

In Maths, our focus was on telling time, especially learning to tell the time to the next hour. We practised reading clocks and understanding how minutes lead up to the next hour. By the end of the week, we were all much more confident with our time-telling skills.

In Science, we explored the diets of different animals and learned about carnivores, omnivores, and herbivores. It was fascinating to understand what different animals eat and how their diets classify them.

In Geography, we continued our water, weather, and climate unit. We dug deeper into understanding the difference between weather and climate—how weather is the day-to-day atmospheric conditions, while climate is the long-term average of weather patterns over time.
