Weekly Blog 28.2.25

Hello and welcome to our first blog of Spring 2.
 
Today feels like spring may be on its way! Just a short blog this week as I haven’t been in much this week.

On Monday we started our new book – The Princess’ Blankets- in English. We have started reading the story and have been writing formal letters in the style of different characters to the King.

We also finished our history unit on Civil Rights by looking at the Black Lives Matter movement and how it is still big movement around the world today. Next week we will be starting our new geography unit.
In maths we have started our unit on Statistics by looking at line graphs, dual bar charts and pie charts. We will finish this next week by looking at the mean.

Today we have had our second PE lesson with Mr Wood where we have been looking at handball. We have also continued our art unit by looking at different artwork which convey important messages.

Next week our SATS revision club will start on Thursday so please let me know if you would like your child to attend. Don’t forget it is also World Book Day on Thursday too.
