Hello and welcome to another weeks blog.
We are now just one week away from SATs and then children should be so proud of themselves for all their hard work and dedication they have put into preparing for these assessments. I am so proud of all them. This week in English we have written our own non chronological reports about our fictional plants. They have been busy publishing them and they look great. We have also been having daily revision sessions on different parts of SPAG. In maths this week we have been revising different topics including statistics and ratio. We will continue to revise different topics next week. In our history lesson this week we focused on what life was like during WW1 and particularly what the trenches were like. In science yesterday we started our new unit on cells by investigating what classes something as a living thing. We learnt an acronym - MRS GREN to help us learn the seven characteristics of life. With Mr Wood this week the children have been focusing on their skills in Javelin! See some pics below. We have also spent a lot of time outside on the fields in the afternoons enjoying the warmth and sunshine! I hope you have a lovely weekend and the sun stays around for a little longer! ☀️ Comments are closed.
