Happy Friday! Welcome to another weekly blog.
We have had another super busy week of new learning. In English this week we have continued our topic on Windrush child. We have been writing speeches from Leonard to his Mum about his thoughts and feelings of living in Britain. Also we have had lots of grammar focuses this week including modal verbs and using semi colons correctly. In maths this week, we have been refreshing our column multiplication knowledge and using bus stop for short division. Next week we will be tackling more division problems and long division too. In history this week we have finished our unit on the industrial revolution by focusing on the impacts it had particularly in Devon. We looked at our Exeter had changed over the period. Next week will be producing an end of unit poster or PowerPoint to show what we have learnt in the unit. In science this week we looked at separating materials in three different ways: sieving, filtration and evaporation. In PE yesterday with Coach Kai the children played a whole class game of capture the flag. See photos below. On Friday 25th October we will be having a whole school TTRS day to celebrate multiplication and number! Children are invited to dress up as Rockstar's and there will be lots of fun activities during the day including a glam rock station with face paint. I hope you have a lovely weekend :) Comments are closed.
