Oak class children are based within the foundation stage unit (FSU) learning together with the Acorn class nursery children and are taught by Mrs Nuthall. Learning opportunities in the FSU are interactive, multi-sensory, fun, exciting , challenging and child centred, whilst a theme runs alongside. Both Acorn and Oak Classes follow these themes. We centre our curriculum on the government publication 'Development Matters in the Early Years Foundation Stage', focusing on the seven areas of learning; Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Communication and Language, Mathematics, Literacy, Understanding the World, Expressive Arts and Design and Physical Development. We have a fantastic Foundation Stage Unit team and believe our FSU is a great place for children to grow, learn, work together and achieve their full potential. Our EnvironmentComments are closed.
