This week we have been exploring the world beneath the sea and diving into the coral ocean to discover what wonders can be seen amongst the great barrier reef! the children were really good at identifying mystery sea creatures by seeing parts of them or by hearing clues about them including sharks, whales, sea horses, jelly fish, sea anemones and even SCUBA divers. We have created silhouette paintings of some of these magnificent creatures, coloured, drawn and read stories about the ocean and even made our own jelly fish out of recycled materials. We are looking forward to seeing some of these amazing creatures for real next week when we visit the aquarium.
