We have been enjoying nature this week and utilising the natural objects in our environment. We have used clay to create nature models and leaves with hole punches for threading and making mobiles. There has been a lot of exploratory play outdoors as the children have searched for minibeasts, talked about habitats and challenged themselves with climbing trees. In maths this week, we have had a week of consolidation. We have recorded number representations using a variety of methods. We have looked at addition and subtraction symbols and also used tens frames and number lines for working out our answers. There has been a focus on explaining our reasoning of how we got our answer. We look forward to a fun final week in Oak Class next week. Comments are closed.
