As per my many posts on class dojo, I have been really impressed with your home learning so far - the engagement, resilience and enthusiasm shown is wonderful and I can see that the children are having lots of fun and time for very important independent play too.
This week, our 'On the Farm' topic has been embraced well and I have loved seeing your expressive arts and design creations. I am incredibly impressed with the children's handwriting - practise makes perfect, and I can tell you are using the ditties to help you.
Next week, we are beginning to learn our Set 2 sounds within Read, Write Inc for our phonics. These are unfamiliar to the children, so they may need additional guidance. Our wider curriculum topic is 'Under the Sea'. This will be incorporated in our writing and spelling elements of adult led learning and theme our creative and exploration tasks too.
Keep up the great work and a huge thank you to you all for supporting the children so well. I understand that every family is in a very different situation at home, and the more I know about this, the more we can tailor the learning to suit your needs.
