Almost there now- another half term almost over.
This week the children have been learning all about spring time- we went on a walk around school and found all the signs that spring was here after reading “The Thing About Spring...” in class. Then we made some posters showing the Four Seasons and how each one looks different. Next week we’ll be continuing to learn about how things change in the spring time and writing about it in our Literacy books. We’ve been working hard on our Read Write Inc. Phonics this week starting to use new resources and work in groups with me and Mrs Day. Already, the children are doing brilliantly and their hard work is starting to show in their writing too. Next week, as a pre-Easter treat, we’re even going to have a phonics Easter Egg hunt! In maths, we’ve been learning all about 2D shapes and learning how to tell the difference between them all. Next week, we’ll be moving on to look at 3D shapes and which 2D shapes are used to make them. Have a lovely weekend, Miss Prince Comments are closed.
