On Thursday morning, the children visited Mrs Budiman in Year 1 (Chestnut class) for their transition morning. They had a great time getting to know their new teacher and teaching assistants and learning about the new area of the school they will be in from September.
The children had a special visit from Waddle the Duckling on Friday afternoon. They all sat beautifully quiet and observed him from a distance as he waddled around the circle. We watched a video of a baby duckling hatching and a video all about ducks and geese. You will have received your child's end of year report on Friday afternoon - please check your junk box if you have not seen this yet. We have a busy week coming up next week. As you have seen from the slips sent home from Miss Prince, the children have their celebration of learning and special picnic too. On Friday, we will be having a pyjama party. Please send the children in in weather appropriate pyjamas for the day. We will be playing lots of party games, and the children will have the choice of watching a movie or some crafty activities in the afternoon. A lovely end to a busy half-term and their first year at school! :) Take care, Mrs Nuthall Comments are closed.
