What a wonderful start to the week! The children coped so well last week having supply and are continuing to make fantastic progress with their learning.
This week we are learning about Fire and Light, in particular remembrance day and the significance of this. We have made poppies and poppy wreath which they will be bringing home towards the end of the week. We are having a huge push on reading at the moment in school and expect parents to read with their child for 5-10 minutes each day. This considerably helps their development by practising the skills they are learning in class. I understand it may be frustrating and time consuming, especially as most children are at the stage of sounding our c-a-t, but cannot blend to cat yet. Please support us at home - this would be amazing and we are starting a new reward system for reading in class too. :) As always, please message me with any queries or questions. It is a real pleasure teaching your children and watching them grow, and would love for you to all be on board with their learning too. Take care, Mrs Nuthall Comments are closed.
