Happy Friday!
This week has been a week of Division, Talent and budding artists. This week, we have been working on our English text Granny Came Here on the Windrush. We have begun our final write, which is a piece of information based on the Windrush Generation. Maths has seen us working on efficient division and dividing 4 digit numbers by 1 digit numbers with a remainder. Miss Brooking has explored Music, Repeating patterns in Computing, French and Colour blending in Art. On Thursday, the year 5s really enjoyed their fifth swimming session, whilst the year 4s worked on the seven times table with Miss Penny. Thursday 27th February, will be the final swimming session for the year 5s. Finally, P.E has seen us developing our Hockey skills, we have worked on passing and intercepting this week. Next week, sees us completing our writing, using our text Granny Came Here on the Windrush as inspiration. We will complete our unit on Multiplication and Division in Maths and will explore Magnetism and forces in Science. We'll also continue work on Medieval Monarchs in History, swim and work on our Hockey skills in P.E. P.E. will be on Tuesday and Friday for this half term, so please send the children in with their kits on on Tuesdays and Fridays. Finally, the children came home with a series of challenges to complete online over the half term, linked to English and Maths. They will revert back to their homework book, spellings and Maths questions next Friday. Have a great week everybody, see you on Monday 24th February. Jason Foreman Comments are closed.
