Week ending 22nd November

A busy week as we start looking forward to Christmas...
As we have spent a lot of time on termly assessments, the blog will be a little more brief than normal this week

Monday

• Phonic screening practice and assessment for year one
• Arithmetic assessments for year one
• phonics and drawing club as usual for Reception
• Geography - We learnt about which plants and animals live in hot and cold deserts and how they have adapted to survive there.
• French with Marion - the focus this week was on colours and body parts through a French story and game
• Singing practice

Tuesday

• We continued our assessments as above
• P.E. with our Saints coach
• Singing and learning the actions of our Nativity songs

Wednesday

• We continued with assessments as above.
• Special visit from our local PCSO giving us special information about road safety.
• Art- We created an abstract close up of our map using different coloured shapes of cellophane. 
• Singing and learning the actions of our Nativity songs

Thursday

• SNOW DAY-School closed

Friday
